Recognizing our outstanding caregivers who go above and beyond to provide excellent care is something MSSI loves to do! Our Traveler of the Quarter for 2024 is none other than Brett Rewertz, PICU RN.

Brett was nominated by his MSSI compliance officer, Alexis Zwiefelhofer, who praised his exceptional performance and dedication as a PICU RN at Children’s Minnesota. According to Alexis, Brett’s responsiveness and attention to detail in completing compliance items, often before being asked, make him standout. Alexis described Brett as a joy to work with and expressed a strong hope to have him for future assignments.

Brett started in travel nursing over a decade ago, from 2013 to 2015, and he resumed his travel nursing career in 2022. His very first travel nursing assignment was in Houston, TX.

The best thing about travel nursing for Brett is the set schedule, which has worked great for his family of six. He has also enjoyed making new friends! A fun fact about Brett is that he has been on three mission trips, goes to show his commitment to helping others beyond travel nursing.
