Traveler of the Quarter: Brian Brennan
At MSSI, we love to recognize the hard work and dedication of our travel nurses. Our Traveler of the Quarter award highlights those who go above and beyond. Each quarter, nominations come from team members who have worked with the traveler, and everyone in the company gets to vote. We’re proud to celebrate the amazing contributions of our travel team members across the country. Since starting this award in 2020, we’ve honored 22 outstanding caregivers!
This quarter, we’re excited to announce that Brian Brennan, ED RN, is the Traveler of the Quarter. He was nominated by his recruiter, Jen McGeady, and truly represents what it means to be an excellent travel nurse.
Brian has been with MSSI for over a year now, starting with a yearlong assignment in Michigan. His skills and dedication caught everyone’s attention, and he is now working at one of our new facilities in Montana. The ED Director even offered him a six-month extension before his initial contract was up, saying he is welcome to stay as long as he likes! His flexibility, quick responses, and great relationships with colleagues make him such a valuable part of our team.
We asked Brian a few questions to learn more about him:
• Hometown: Royal Oak, MI
• How long have you been traveling? 4 years
• Where did you take your first travel assignment? Detroit, MI
• Best thing about travel nursing: “Traveling to new places and improving my skills as an ER nurse, since each location has different styles and challenges.”
• Fun Fact: “My dog George and I have loved White Sulphur Springs, MT. The best part of my current contract has been spending my 8 days off every other week floating rivers, hiking, and fishing in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.”
We are proud to have Brian on our team and celebrate his exceptional travel nurse career. As we continue to recognize our dedicated travelers, we look forward to seeing how Brian and others like him will shape the future of travel nursing. Thank you, Brian, for your hard work and dedication!
