How long have you been nursing for? 7 years

Where did you take your first travel assignment? Washington DC! And I love the nursing staff and DC so much, I’m back again!

Favorite thing about travel nursing? I’ve really enjoyed watching myself grow as a nurse. From my staff job I had a strong foundation in pathophysiology, protocols, and high patient care standards. Travel nursing pushed me to a new level and forced me to become even more adaptable, communicative, and resilient. I also like being able to take time off between assignments. I think the breaks allow me to come back refreshed and reengaged for my patients.

Favorite way to spend a day off? My day off always start with the morning CrossFit class and coffee. Then I try to spend as much time as possible outside, before making a mess in my kitchen either cooking or baking.

What was the last book you read? The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

Favorite coffee drink? Vanilla oat milk
